This Master class is designed specifically for local government practitioners in Southern Africa who are grappling with the issues of coastal and catchment management in their municipalities. The course is struc¬tured around seven areas balanced with a full day of site visits to selected projects.

The Master Class is designed to target both non technical and technical persons from municipali¬ties and primarily from municipalities outside South Africa. This Master Class will cover the basics of Coastal and Catchment Management and it is envisaged that a second more technical Master Class will be run following this Introductory Master class.
