The Municipal Institute of Learning (MILE) and its university partners, Durban University of Technology (DUT), Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) and University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) invite submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentations to the 3rd eThekwini-University Research Symposium (EURS 2014). The invitation is open to post-graduate students, academics and local government practitioners whose research is deemed relevant to eThekwini Municipality and local government in general. Abstracts submitted should relate to the broad symposium theme, “Innovative Cities.
Potential presenters are expected to submit a 2 page expanded summary of their research which demonstrates practices of creativity and innovation in response to local government challenges in water & sanitation; energy; public health; IT; human settlements and social infrastructure.
