The 15th Built Environment Seminar took place on 15th of March 2017 at the Durban Botanic Gardens Conference Centre. The seminar provided a platform for all sectors to discuss the governance agenda that eThekwini Municipality has to pursue for the progressive realisation of a spatially, socially transformed and resilient City.
The Thought Leader for the event was Mr Sithole Mbanga, CEO of South African Cities Network (SACN). In his presentation Sithole emphasised the key findings and highlights from the State of Cities Report produced by SACN.
City practitioners, academia and key stakeholders spent the morning for constructive deliberations based on the keynote presentation.
