Officials Engage on the Municipal Services and Living Conditions Survey
MILE in partnership with EThekwini Municipality's Research and Policy Advocacy (RAPA) Unit hosted a Seminar on the Municipal Services and Living Conditions Survey (MSLCS) on 17 April 2019 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The MSLCS is conducted annually by eThekwini Municipality. The purpose of the survey is to supply the Municipal decision makers with a clear understanding of residents’ perceptions of their living conditions, their satisfaction with Municipal services and with their neighbourhoods, and their satisfaction with the quality of their own lives.

The purpose of the Seminar was to receive feedback from on the Survey from eThekwini Municipality officials from various departments within the City. Dr Sandile Mbatha, Senior Manager (RAPA) presented the Survey, mapping the 6 year trends.

Officials spent the morning discussing the survey findings and providing comments on how ways the City can improve service delivery.
